Which clinic software will tell you, in writing, what its AI is not allowed to say?
Short answer: Two systems in this set mention AI: Pabau (AI Scribe, Prescribing Agent, Letters Agent) and Clinicminds (Quinn AI transcription). Appointbox has both a clinical scribe and a voice receptionist, and is the only one that publishes a tested list of what its AI must never do.
| System | AI scribe | AI voice / receptionist |
|---|---|---|
| Appointbox | Built, awaiting the transcription provider's DPA | Built, awaiting per-clinic phone-line configuration |
| Pabau | Pabau Scribe | Not published |
| Clinicminds | Quinn AI, multilingual | Not published |
| Consentz, MERIDIQ, ANS, Faces | Not published | Not published |
What Appointbox's AI never does, and is tested against on every release: it never gives clinical advice, never says a toxin brand name aloud, never diagnoses or recommends a treatment, never changes a signed consent record, and never sends anything until the safety triage has run. If a caller mentions a complication, they get your fixed acknowledgement and a named human, before any model is involved. If they say anything that sounds like an emergency, the call goes to 999 guidance first. The evaluation harness exists to prove that none of those paths ever reach the model.
