A prescribing decision is only as strong as the record behind it.
When a complication happens, a complaint lands, or an inspector asks, the question is rarely whether you made the right call. It's whether you can show it. Appointbox builds the record while the consultation is happening, not as paperwork afterwards.
Captured as you go
- Prescriber credential type and registration number, checked against the NMC register every 24 hours
- Face-to-face consultation evidence for new patients under the NMC rule in force since 1 June 2025: the location, and a logged reason for any remote override
- Contraindications and current medications, checked against the patient's declared history at the point of prescribing
- Product restricted to the MHRA whitelist. A treatment note naming anything else is rejected at the API, not found in a later audit
- Prescriber signature and patient acknowledgement, timestamped
- A hash-chained audit trail linking all of the above to the treatment record, permanently
